Steven T. Collis, acclaimed for his expertise in civil discourse, is a storyteller at heart. He works as a law professor at the University of Texas School of Law and the faculty director of Texas's Bech-Loughlin First Amendment Center and Law and Religion Clinic. He is a sought-after public speaker and the author of Deep Conviction: True Stories of Ordinary Americans Fighting for the Freedom to Live Their Beliefs. He and his wife have five children and reside in Texas.

Bruce Lindsay has been writing and publishing stories since the second grade. His career in journalism, as an Emmy Award-winning reporter and newscaster, brings him almost as much satisfaction as reading Christmas stories aloud to his children and grandchildren. Bruce received an MBA from the University of Utah. His favorite places to write are on a ship, on a train, or in the shade on his back porch.
