How can I prepare for General Conference?

Looking for ways to prepare for General Conference? An article on churchofjesuschrist.org suggests four ways to personally get ready for the special semiannual weekend including,

  1. Review past general conference messages

  2. Ponder questions you need to answer in your lift

  3. Prepare as the prophets do

  4. Plan to listen with intent, then go and do

You can read the article HERE for more in depth ideas on each of the bullet points. We love these thoughts and are always looking for ways to get ourselves and our families ready to hear the messages and stories told.

Our third edition of the popular General Conference Packet is designed to help you kick off the weekend with activities to help your family prepare beforehand, yummy recipes to share with your friends and family, activities to help capture your thoughts, (and your kids’ attention), during the conference, and a post-conference lesson to help your family set goals for the next six months.

The best part is, these packets are completely free. You can pick up a copy at your local Deseret Book store, or download a PDF HERE
